Calling all fantastic fundraisers looking for a new opportunity!

Amnesty International is a global movement that mobilise the humanity in everyone so that we can all live with care and respect for each other. Our vision is a world where everyone, everywhere enjoys their fundamental human rights.

Here in Aotearoa, we are a small team of motivated, dedicated and fun people. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Individual Giving Co-ordinator to join us to help enable the New Zealand public to give to and support our human rights work.

This is an exciting time for AIANZ with our individual giving programmes and donor engagement growing, and this is a key role in taking these programmes to the next level.

So what will it involve? You will support our individual giving programmes to maximise their fundraising potential and provide our donors with a unique and powerful experience. You will have the opportunity to really shine as a co-ordinator superstar, leading cross-functional project teams to deliver integrated and inspiring communications and appeals. It goes without saying that you are thoroughly familiar with current fundraising practices and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You’ll be ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong fundraising and marketing background
  • Excellent knowledge of current fundraising principles and practice, and an enthusiasm for learning and testing new approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver marketing and/or fundraising campaigns that engage members of the public
  • Ability to co-ordinate and work collaboratively with cross-functional project teams
  • Experience of creative development of collateral for fundraising products
  • Excellent analytical and research skills, and strong administrative skills

If this sounds like you, head over to our website to find out more and read the full job description.

Equity, diversity and inclusion are very important to us and we welcome applications from different background and circumstances. We are committed to Te Tiriti O Waitangi and building a safe, welcoming, inclusive environment. While we envisage that this full-time role is in Auckland, there is some potential for the successful applicant to be based elsewhere in Aotearoa.

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience, between $65,000 to $70,000 per annum. We are people-centred and value the lives our people have outside of work, so we look forward to talking with you about what flexible working we offer, including the option to work some hours from home, and how this role may fit in with your personal commitments. Other flexible working initiatives that we currently offer are generous wellbeing leave, flexibility to take Friday afternoons off on full pay, and a day’s paid leave on your birthday.
